The ultimate war machine reduced to balloon art or is it the other way around. German artist Idee Inges takes the symbols of childhood parties and transforms them into a war tank: The quintessential weapon of destruction.  Celebration and destruction? Or perhaps the celebration of destruction?

One can also say that like tanks, balloons pop when provoked, only used during “special occasions”  and serve for the purpose of a party (Republican, Democrat, Communist, etc…).  The favorite  thing I like about this piece is the reaction it provoked in me. It made me smile and then made me wonder why I am smiling at a tank.  Very,very fun piece.
